Fuller, Bothwell Named to GPAC Weekly Honor

Macy Fuller and Isabel Bothwell have been named the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, presented by Hauff Mid-America Sports, after their performances at the Ward Haylett Invite for Doane. This marks the first time that either athlete received the honor for the indoor season.

Fuller is the first Tiger since January 2022 to receive the Field Athlete of the Week honor. Fuller won the weight throw with a mark of 17.07m (56-00.00) and moved into 9th in the NAIA this season. She added a personal best throw in the shot put with a mark of 10.15m (33-03.75).

Bothwell is the first Tiger since January 2017 to receive the Track Athlete of the Week honor. She won the 60m dash on Saturday with a time of 8.00 seconds. Her time is the fifth-fastest in the GPAC this season.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, January 13, when they host the Scott Nisely Memorial Track Classic. Field events are scheduled to start at 11 AM with running events scheduled to start at 12 PM (noon).
