Baucom Named GPAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's indoor field athletes-of-the-week for events held January 27-February 2, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Field Events – Alivia Baucom, Doane University

Alivia Baucom from Doane University is this week's women's field athlete-of-the-week. S Wohlgemuth Baucom, a senior from Rock Port, Missouri, hit a personal best throw in the shot put with a mark of 14.60m (47-11.00). Her mark is the third-best in the NAIA this year and ranks seventh on Doane's all-time chart.
