Fuller, 4x100m Relay Break School Records on Friday

Women's Track and Field posted a 109-78 win over Nebraska Wesleyan on Friday afternoon in Lincoln. The win was the 16th in the 19 meetings for the Tigers since 2004.

Neryah Hekl won the 100m dash with a time of 12.15. Morgan Mahoney won the 200m with a time of 25.72. Katie Vogt took second in the 400m with a time of 55.86, meeting the NAIA automatic qualifying standard and moving into 10th nationally. 

Danie Parriott took second in the 800m with a time of 2:29.98. Parriott won the 1500m with a time of 5:05.52. Calla Wittland took second in the 5000m with a time of 20.09.89.

Josie Garrett took the crown in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.64 and Chaney Nelson won the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.59.

The women's 4x100m relay team broke the school record by three-hundredths of a second on Friday. The team of Isabel Bothwell, Mahoney, Vogt, and Hekl ran a time of 46.65, meeting the NAIA automatic qualifying standard and sitting seventh nationally. The 4x400m relay team won with a time of 3:57.72. Running for the Tigers were Nelson, Vogt, Kiley Hejtmanek, and Parriott.

Sarah Theiler won the high jump with a mark of 1.61m (5-03.25). Kaylee Pribyl won the pole vault with a mark of 3.90m (12-09.50). Kennedy Stanley was second with a mark of 3.68m (12-00.75), as the two pole vaulters met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard.

Garrett won the long jump with a mark of 5.37m (17-07.50). She also took the triple jump title with an NAIA provisional qualifying mark of 11.69m (38-04.25).

Alivia Baucom won the shot put with a throw of 13.47m (44-02.50), meeting the NAIA provisional qualifying standard. Baucom also won the discus with a throw of 43.24m (141-10), an NAIA provisional qualifying mark.

Macy Fuller broke her school record in the hammer throw for the second straight week with a mark of 56.35m (184-10). She hit the mark on her fifth throw of the day. Delaney Burge took third in the javelin with a throw of 36.12m (118-06).

Next up for the Tigers will be the Jim Dutcher Classic and the John Green Combined Events at home, April 18-20.
