Curren-Graff Paces Volleyball Against McPherson

Volleyball took on McPherson on Saturday in non-conference action in Crete. This was the Bulldogs first trip to Doane and they were able to pick up a three-set win. McPherson is receiving votes in the NAIA poll and won 25-22, 25-14, and 25-20.

Doane received nine kills from Frankie Current-Graff as she hit .360 for the match. Taylor Sluka added seven kills with a .316 attack percentage. As a team, Doane hit .145 with 28 team kills. Camdyn Carpenter dished out 23 assists in the match.

Defensively, the Tiger block was strong as they picked up 8.0 team blocks. Sluka was in on five total blocks while Delaney Burge was in on four total blocks. Sophia McKinney led the team with 14 digs and four additional players had seven digs apiece.

The Tigers will have a short rest as they travel to NCAA Division II Nebraska-Kearney on Monday, September 18, for a 6 PM match.
