#14 Jamestown Holds Back Tiger Volleyball

Volleyball started their northern track on Friday by taking on No. 14 Jamestown in North Dakota. The Tigers and Jimmies went back and forth early on before the host squad was able to swing the momentum their way to post a 3-0 win. Game scores were 25-19, 25-15, and 25-17.

Jamestown finished the match with 45 kills and a .252 attack percentage while Doane posted 23 kills and a .079 attack percentage. Frankie Curren-Graff led the way with seven kills. Camdyn Carpenter dished out 15 assists in the match.

Sophia McKinney and Sophia Turek recorded nine digs apiece in the match defensively. Delaney Burge was in on each of Doane's 3.0 team blocks, teaming up with Taylor Sluka twice and Carpenter once.

Next up will be a trip to Mitchell, S.D., to take on Dakota Wesleyan at 3 PM on Saturday, September 30.
