Curren-Graff, Schumacher Pace Volleyball at No. 20 KWU

Volleyball went outside of conference play on Wednesday night with a trip to Salina, Kan., to take on No. 20 Kansas Wesleyan. The Coyotes were able to hold off the Tigers for a 3-1 win. Game scores were 25-21, 25-17, 22-25, and 25-20 in KWU's favor.

The Tigers received career-best marks in kills from Frankie Curren-Graff and Kayden Schumacher. Curren-Graff finished with 17 kills while Schumacher posted 12 kills. Olivia Navarro was one kill off her career-best as she finished with 10 in the match. 

Camdyn Carpenter dished out 45 assists as the team hit .213 for the match with 54 kills. Sophia Turek posted two of the team's four ace serves.

Defensively, Schumacher finished with three total blocks out of the team's 5.0 total blocks. Sophia McKinney recorded 20 digs in the match.

Doane will host No. 2 Northwestern on Friday, October 6, at 7:30 PM.
