Volleyball traveled to Fremont on Saturday to take on Midland. The Warriors, ranked No. 18, won in three sets, 25-20, 25-20, and 25-15. Despite the loss, the Tigers clinched a GPAC Tournament berth and will be the eighth seed when the bracket is announced on Tuesday evening following the conclusion of the regular season.
Delaney Burge led the Tigers with nine kills and a .412 attack percentage. Kayden Schumacher, Taylor Sluka, and Frankie Curren-Graff each posted six kills. Camdyn Carpenter dished out 26 assists.
Sophia McKinney and Carpenter led the team with 13 digs apiece. Anna Sluka added eight digs. Doane was not credited with a block in the match.
The Tigers will close out the regular season on Tuesday, October 31, with Mount Marty coming to Crete. First serve is set for 7:30 PM.
