Volleyball headed to Iowa on Saturday evening to take on NAIA No. 1 Northwestern in the Quarterfinals of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Tournament. The first two sets were tight but the Red Raiders held off Doane before taking a 3-0 victory. Game scores were 25-20, 25-22, and 25-10.
Frankie Curren-Graff led the way with eight kills for the Tigers. Olivia Navarro added six kills while Camdyn Carpenter led the team with 22 assists.
Carpenter had a team-high nine digs while Sophia McKinney and Harper Case posted eight digs apiece. Navarro teamed with Taylor Sluka for the lone Tiger block.
The Tigers end their season at 8-19, having posted a 6-10 record in GPAC play during the regular season.
