Volleyball Drops Match to McPherson, Goes 2-1 at Bellevue Tournament

Volleyball (2-5) closed out the GoSarpy.com Bellevue Classic on Saturday by taking on undefeated McPherson (Kan.), a team receiving votes in the preseason coaches' poll. The Bulldogs posted a straight-set win over the Tigers, 25-11, 25-18, and 25-21.
Frankie Curren-Graff led the Tigers with 10 kills in the match while hitting .364. Kate Roseland added five kills and two total blocks. Chloe Rose dished out 14 assists to go with 11 digs while Camdyn Carpenter posted 10 assists.
Doane will travel to Florida for their next tournament on August 30. The Tigers will face Milligan (Tenn.) in the opening match at 1 PM (EST).
