North Sioux City, S.D. – Doane volleyball couldn't slow down a sharp-hitting Dakota State squad in a 3-0 setback Saturday afternoon. The Trojans claimed the match by scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-16.
Doane (1-2) came out aggressive in the opening set, battling to a 22-25 decision behind the swings of Natalie Wood (10 kills, .200) and Kate Roseland (7 kills, 8 points).
