Bio

Tsogtbayar Tserendagva, who goes by Buka, joined the Tiger coaching staff in the 2019-20 season. In August 2022, he was named top assistant of Doane's inaugural women's wrestling team in addition to helping with the men's program.

He assisted at Northwest Kansas Tech while also wrestling for Mavericks from 2017-19. Prior to arriving in the states, he served as a coach in Mongolia. He was a club coach from 2009-2016, served as the Mongolia Paralympics National Coach in 2013, Junior National Team coach in 2015 and led the men's and women's junior national teams to Top 3 finishes in 2016.

Tserendagva graduated from Northwest Kansas Tech in 2019, where he was a NJCAA All-American. He also earned a law degree in Mongolia. Prior to his junior college time, he was a member of the Mongolian National team as an alternate from 2006-2012. Buka was a junior national champion in Mongolia and a two-time senior nationals medalist, earning a silver and bronze medal.
