Parriott Punches Ticket to Nationals; Tigers Place Fourth
ASHLAND, Neb. - Doane women's cross country hosted the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Championships on Saturday at Mahoney State Park. This was the second year that the conference championship race was held at the course with times improved from last year.
Corinne Braun of Dordt repeated as conference champion, finishing with a time of 21:21.5, 1:22 faster than the time she posted last year. A total of 13 runners finished with a faster time than Braun's time from a year ago.
Doane was paced by Danie Parriott as she placed 11th with a time of 22:31.4. Her finish earned her All-GPAC honors for the second time and an individual berth to the NAIA Championships in Florida. Maddy Ramey finished 22nd with a time of 23:23.0 and Delaney Catron placed 25th with a time of 23:31.9. Calla Wittland finished 29th for Doane with a time of 23:50.3 while Mackenzy Lippold rounded out the Top 5 with a time of 24:23.9 to place 38th overall.

As a team, the Tigers finished fourth with 112 team points. Dordt came up one runner shy of a perfect score, finishing with 17 team points in winning the conference title.
