Men's Basketball Duo Honored by Omaha World Herald

Doane Men's Basketball placed two players on this year's Omaha World Herald All-Midlands' NAIA/NCAA III team. The team consists of players who attend a Nebraska university/college. Brady Timm was chosen to the First Team honor while Alec Oberhauser was named to the honorable mention list.

Timm joined Peter Lash (Nebraska Wesleyan), Reggie Thomas (Hastings), Jibril Harris (Peru State), and Noah Schutte (Concordia) on the First Team list as selected by the staff writers.

During the 2022-23 season, Timm and Oberhauser gave the Tigers a dynamic duo on the court. Timm averaged 20.3 points per game to go with 3.0 points and 3.3 rebounds. Oberhauser posted 17.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists for Doane. 

The Tigers finished 11-17 overall, 8-12 in the GPAC and tied for seventh in the conference standings.
