FREMONT, Neb. — Doane men's basketball used a balanced scoring attack and a dominant second half to earn an 82-63 Great Plains Athletic Conference road victory over Midland on Wednesday night at the Wikert Event Center.
The Tigers (10-8, 5-6 GPAC) broke open a tight first half by shooting 62.1 percent after the break and outscoring the Warriors 46-30 over the final 20 minutes. Doane also capitalized on Midland miscues, forcing 18 turnovers and turning them into 19 points.
