Women's Golf Places 25th at NAIA Nationals
The 2025 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships hit the midway point on Wednesday, with the Top 15 teams moving on to the final two rounds on Thursday and Friday. Doane, the champions of the Great Plains Athletic Conference, was unable to make the cut despite a program-best showing, finishing 25th after two rounds. The Tigers posted a 660 (342-318).
Doane entered the tournament with their previous best score in an NAIA Championship round of 376 back in 2014. Their 342 finish on Tuesday would top the mark, which was again topped in Wednesday's round with a 318.
Sydney Streeter (87-76) and Connie Jarm (84-79) tied for 108th with two-round scores of 163. Kaitlyn Dumler placed 119th with a 166 (84-82) and Laila Saunders posted a 170 (87-83) to finish 129th. Tia Phaisan finished 138th with a 175 (94-81).
